We don’t aim to build just one house a year as we usually need only about 3 months to build a 300m2 villa to include painting, furnishing and landscaping with the construction of a pool included in this timeframe.  A condominium complex with, say, 6 units and pool would be completed and ready for habitation within 7 months.

We would recommend that you choose a good size for your building lot allowing you to build your home adequately whilst also maintaining privacy.  You can calculate building costs for a good quality standard house with cistern, septic tank, European style kitchen with granite counter top, wooden roof etc.. starting at approx. $US70 -100 per square foot ($US700- 950 per square meter) depending on the finishing standard and materials used.
